This year’s Classic Car Show and Motorcycle Run was a great success, as we had over 80 cars shown and 60 motorcycle riders turn out to support the Little Sisters. Our St. Joseph Auxiliary organized this event to raise needed support for the Sacred Heart Home and the care of our Residents. The “Big Ride for the Little Sisters” was a lot of fun for the many motorcycle enthusiast who turned out for a beautiful ride from our Home to Marble Head, Ohio and back again. Everyone enjoyed the sounds of our DJ spinning the oldies during the day and a delicious lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and all the sides was served to our guests. High points of the day were the blessing of the bikes by our Chaplain Fr. Joe, the giving away of many door prizes throughout the day, and the awarding of trophies for the best cars shown.
We greatly appreciate all the support shown for the Little Sisters at this fun filled event and encourage anyone interested in joining our St. Joseph Auxiliary to contact us at 419-698-4331.
