Tara is a beautiful standard poodle that was lovingly rescued by her owner, Cheryl Franklin, from a puppy mill. Cheryl could not believe after all that Tara had been through that she has turned out to be such a loving companion. Cheryl wanted to share Tara will other people and found a wonderful opportunity within the home of the Little Sisters of the Poor. It was truly fulfilling to see the Residents faces light up when we walked through the door of their Residents room. Tara comes in once a month and travels the home over in search of the Residents. She has come to love them and they have come to love her.
