It was another busy, but enjoyable event as members of the Association gathered for days cleaning, baking and cooking some famous Hungarian specialty foods. Everyone’s hard work proved well worthwhile as hungry guests came to enjoy the likes of Chicken Paprikash, Stuffed Cabbage, Goulash, as well as a large variety of Kifli (fruit-filled cookies), nut rolls, poppy seed cakes, cherry cakes and more. Over $1,400 was profited from the event and given to Mother Alice for special needs at the Home. Many thanks to everyone that helped make this dinner a delicious success. In the photo, Pat Scheuer and Jonathan King display some of the homemade Hungarian dessert delights.
