Start with a little sunshine; add a light breeze and mix in wonderful fellowship and you have a recipe for an extraordinary day. The St. Joseph Auxiliary hosted their first Summer Family Reunion on Saturday, July 28th for the Residents, their families as well as the employees and their families of the Sacred Heart Home. With 300 people in attendance talk and laughter was the topic of the day. There was plenty to tickle everyone’s funny bone. Tip Top the Clown came to make balloon animals as well as face painting for the young kids. There were relay games as well as water balloon games and a good old fashioned watermelon seed spitting contest to round out a perfect day.
