Start with a little sunshine, add a light breeze, mix in wonderful fellowship, and you have a recipe for an extraordinary day. The St. Joseph Auxiliary hosted their fourth Summer Family Reunion on Saturday, July 25 for the Residents, their families as well as the employees and their families of the Sacred Heart Home. With over 300 people in attendance talk and laughter was the topic of the day. There was lots for the small kids, with Tip Top the Clown who made balloon animals, face painting, and Jim Opferman, son of resident Rita Pelfrey, brought his home made Choo Choo Train to give all the kids rides around the property. There was “Minute to Win It” games, as well as water balloon games to round out a perfect day.
