Quite recently our Residents were treated to a special evening of entertainment by the children from St. Ignatius Catholic Church who performed the musical play “Motion in the Ocean”. This musical is the story of God’s love for all of us and all his creation. Seven children sang and danced as they explained that no matter how we might try to understand the mysteries of God’s creation, only God holds the key to these treasures and we are awed by it all.
The children sang some energy packed songs including “A Whole Lot of Love”, “Something Fishy”, The Bid Whale Hotel”, “Underwater Symphony”, “The Octopus of My Dreams”, “Angels on the Water”, “Motion in the Ocean”, and “It All Comes Back to God”. The narrator for the show pulled it all together with a delightful story of how God made the sea for you and me. Our Residents greatly enjoyed this performance and loved seeing the children perform.
