Recently City of Toledo Mayor Michael Bell helped the Little Sisters by co-chairing our Big Ride for the Little Sisters Motorcycle Run. The Sisters wanted to thank Mayor Bell for his support and decided to surprise him at his office. So yesterday the Sisters went to the 22nd floor of One Government Center and surprised Mayor Bell by gifting him with a framed photo of them with him taken at the Motorcycle Run. Mayor Bell and his staff were so surprised and hospitable to the Sisters and even invited them into the Mayor’s office. Both Sr. Margaret and Sr. Cecilia got to pose as “Mayor for a Day” or at least part of a day by sitting behind the Mayor’s desk for a few photos. Mayor Bell introduced the Sisters to his immediate staff and even posed with them and members of the City of Toledo Fire Department. Everyone had a great time and the Sisters made a lot of new friends.
