On St. Valentine’s Day our Residents were treated to a wonderful magic show sponsored by our St. Jeanne Jugan Auxiliary.
The theme “Love is Magical” set the tone for a wonderful St. Valentine’s Day celebration. Eli Portala, who is a 17 year old
Magician, performed his magic show to the amazement of our Residents, Sisters and staff. He has been performing magic
since he was a very young boy and comes to the craft by way of his father, who is also a magician. Eli has recently won
the International Brotherhood of Magician’s 2013 Jr. Championship, along with numerous other contests and awards for
his wonderful talent. Our Residents loved his magic show and later had a special St. Valentine’s Day dinner and party in
the evening.
