On March 1st, the Sisters were so pleased to go to Kateri Catholic schools – Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School for our annual Lenten Collection. The students at Kateri Catholic schools had collected needed items for our Residents such as body wash, hand lotion, mouth wash, paper towels, napkins, and Kleenex boxes. The students and Sisters were surprised when Ch. 11 WTOL news showed up to cover this collection. Sr. Margaret was interviewed about what the collection means for the Residents. She shared that more importantly than the items themselves, this is a great way for the youth in our local area to reach out to the elderly and help them. This wonderful donation really makes a difference and helps the Sisters from having to purchase these necessary items. Many thanks from our Residents to these thoughtful young people!
