Notre Dame Academy High School and St. Ursula Academy High School each held Lenten collections to bring in much needed items for the Residents of our Home this past week.
As these pictures attest, the young ladies were all smiles when the Little Sisters showed up to pick up the collections. The Sisters enjoyed spending some time with the students and were very grateful for the wonderful collection.
These collections of needed items for the Residents are a great way for the youth of our community to experience a service project that really helps the elderly. In return the students at each Academy received some Marco Pizza gift certificates, which were donated by Marcos Pizza as a way to reward and inspire the students to be generous.
