Today, our Residents enjoyed a wonderful dinner followed by Ballroom Dancing! The Little Sisters were pleased to welcome Paulette’s Studio of Dance to our Home for an exciting exhibition of ballroom dancing for our Residents.
Paulette and Kent entertained us with beautiful dances of the Waltz, Cha Cha, Rumba’s and others. They even got our Residents involved by playing instruments and one of our 93-year-old Residents, Nick Nieves, even joined Paulette on the dance floor for the Samba! More fun was enjoyed when a few of our staff members joined Kent for a Mambo and Disco dances. This activity brought a lot of smiles to the faces of our Residents, as they enjoyed the ballroom dances and reminisced about when they used to go out dancing in their younger days.
The Little Sisters thank Paulette and Kent for sharing their talents and making our Residents happy. More information about Paulette’s Studio of Dance can be found on the web at www.dancetoledo.com.
