On an overcast chilly day you could hear the rumble of engines for over two hours as classic cars and motorcycles rolled in for the day. After a blessing of the bikes by our house chaplain, Fr. Joe Wiegman the bikes rumbled back out under motorcade from the Ottawa County Sheriffs office to take a scenic ride to Marblehead Lighthouse and back. While the bikes were away the classic cars popped their hoods for everyone to see the beauty of these antique cars. Residents commented that it took them back to wonderful memories of younger years as they watched the cars parade around the home while rumbling their engines. Donated Bubba burgers, brats and hot dogs filled the air as Dave Murray from Murray Brokerage brought out his special grill and did all the cooking. Door prizes galore, 50/50 and the Sisters Choice Awards rounded out the day.
