Our Residents were all smiles when the 6th graders from Navarre Elementary School came to our Home to entertain them with some Holiday cheer. The boys and girls sang a selection of Christmas tunes that really helped get our Residents into the spirit of Christmas. A surprise visit from Santa Claus was also a treat for our Residents, as was a handmade ornament and card given to each of them. One of our apartment Residents, Ken Knitz, was especially proud of the students, as he was a graduate of the same Navarre Elementary school, which he attended back in the 1950’s. The boys and girls ended their visit by sharing some warm homemade Christmas cookies with our Residents. Many thanks go out to these young students who really helped make our Residents happy.
