We recently held our annual Little Sisters golf outing and experienced one of the best weather days in recent memory. With temps in the 60’s we started the day with a 8:00AM shotgun start and had 28 foursomes of golfers all begin a fun filled day of golf. This year Sr. Andrea thanked all the golfers for attending and wished them well, as she sounded the bullhorn to start the day.
When the golfers returned to the club house after about 5 hours of play and temps in the high 70’s, we surprised them with door prizes for each foursome and gave away many raffle prizes to the lucky few. Then our golfers enjoyed a delicious Chicken and Ribs dinner prepared by our own Little Sisters food services. During the luncheon we announce the winners of our golf outing, who also received prizes for the top 3 teams. The winning team with a 15 under par score was led by Paul Gaul, son of Susan Gaul, one of our Residents. Paul, along with many of our golfers, had a great day of golfing and shared a wonderful fellowship together as they supported the Little Sisters Mission of caring for the neediest elderly.
We want to thank all the sponsors and underwriters of this event, and especially the team of loyal volunteers that helped plan and make this year’s golf outing a great success!
