On Sunday August 13th, two Residents in wheel chairs were escorted to the University of Michigan Stadium to meet the coaches and players from the football team. Ron Shire and Dan Panos were thrilled to see the “Big House”, the name given to the stadium. It was so much fun wheeling them around the playing field and seeing many of the younger fans getting autographs of the players and coaches.
We waited outside the stadium to assure that Ron and Dan would have their picture taken with Brady Hoke, the Head Coach for the team. We joked around and told him if he didn’t get his picture taken we would not pray they beat Alabama, the first game of the season.
As you can see not everyone who lives in Ohio are Ohio State fans. Toledo is the border city and Michigan is well represented.
