This year’s Classic Car Show and Motorcycle Run was a great success! We had many cars shown and over 65 motorcycle riders that turned out to support the Little Sisters. The “Big Ride for the Little Sisters” was a lot of fun for the motorcycle enthusiasts, as they had a beautiful ride from our Home to the lighthouse in Marble Head, Ohio and back again. Everyone enjoyed the sounds of our DJ spinning the oldies during the day and a delicious lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and all the sides were served to our guests.
Our St. Joseph Auxiliary organized this event to raise needed support for the Sacred Heart Home and the care of our Residents. High points of the day were the blessing of the bikes by our Chaplain Fr. Joe Weigman, the giving away of many door prizes throughout the day, as well as the awarding of trophies for the best cars shown.
We greatly appreciate all the support shown by those who attended this fun filled event and encourage anyone interested in joining our St. Joseph Auxiliary to contact us at 419-698-4331.
